Jeremy Kay Bills
Born August 28, 1979 -- Passed Away June 3, 2002
RIGBY, ID -- Jeremy Kay Bills is the sixth of seven children born to his parents, Kerry David Bills and Sherry Lynn Holmes Bills (now Lundgren). Jeremy was born August 28, 1979 and returned home to his Father in Heaven June 3, 2002, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
His Grandfather, William Harvey Bills, his older brother, Jeffery Scott Bills, and his younger sister, Emilee Sue Bills, preceded Jeremy in death. He is survived by his father and wife, Kerry & Kathy Bills of Milo, Idaho, his mother, Sherry Lundgren of Bountiful, Utah, Grandparents, Afton Bills of Milo, Idaho, and Ferrell & Betty Holmes of Bountiful, Utah, and his fiancé, Guinevere Hand.
Surviving him also are his brothers and their spouses, Shaun & Sharon Bills of Shelley, Idaho, David & Alana Bills of Pocatello, Idaho, Chad & Kim Bills of Antioch, California, and his sister, Amy Bills, of Salt Lake City, Utah, also Scott & Mitzi Mickelsen, Shane & Amy Mickelsen, Ron & Cheri Engberson, Alan & Dari Edwards, and Travis & Kandi Anderson.
Jeremy graduated from Rigby High School in 1998. Throughout his life he loved singing hymns and dancing. While in high school he was a member of the ballroom dance team, as well as a member of the school choir. Jeremy then went on to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Ohio Cincinnati Mission. In the mission he held callings as a District and Zone Leader. He served valiantly and faithfully and was loved by those he taught and those he served with.
Upon his return he attended school at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, majoring in business, while also working for his father in the family businesses of Happy Homes and CR Homes.
Jeremy loved snow and water skiing, basketball, riding his motorcycle, snowmobiling, working on his truck, and, most importantly, spending time with his family. He loved to play with his many nieces and nephews and was a great uncle to them.
Jeremy is loved by all and was always a joy to be around. Seldom was a negative word to escape his lips and he had an unconditional love for all. Jeremy was a generous and giving man who was respected and admired by his family and peers. His absence will be felt by many.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2002, at the Milo LDS 1st Ward Chapel, 12127 North 75 East, with Bishop Bart Davis officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, and for one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the church. Burial will be in the Ucon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
