Jeremy James Allen

Jeremy James Allen, 45, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 26, 2025, at home.

Jeremy was born July 27, 1979, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Dennis and Linda Allen. He grew up and attended schools in Rigby, Idaho  and graduated from Rigby High School.

On July 9, 2005, Jeremy married Amanda Thorne in Idaho Falls, Idaho and had two children, Dalila and Capri. They spent three years in Dubai where Amanda was a school teacher. They later divorced, but they remained good friends and co-parents for their daughters.

Jeremy settled in Idaho Falls where Jeremy worked as a Real Estate Agent for ReMax.

He enjoyed camping, 4H, golf, traveling, driving 4 wheelers, spending time with family, playing poker, and running around Menan with friends.

Jeremy is survived by his father, Dennis Earl Allen; mother, Linda Lanette Allen; daughter, Dalila Lynette Allen; daughter, Capri Patricia Allen; sister, Wendy Lynn (Sheridan) Willford; and grandmother, Glenna Allen.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lyle Allen, Kenneth McCormick, and Shirley McCormick.

A gathering will be held 2-4 pm Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Snake River Animal Shelter .
