Jenny Allred

Jenny Mary Allred, 79, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, passed away June 9, 2015, at Ponce De Leon Nursing Home. Jenny was born October 26, 1935, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to John Sebastiano Palleria and Elisabetta Maria Panzarella Palleria. She grew up and attended school in Blackfoot and graduated from Firth High School. On May 2, 1958, she married George Ezekiel Allred in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union were born two sons, Scott and Rick. Jenny and George made their home in Omaha, Nebraska, where Jenny worked as a Office Administrator for the Department of Defense. After retiring to Idaho Falls, Idaho, she was an avid volunteer, giving of her time to the Sheriff’s Department with the DARE program, and helping assisted living at Good Samaritan. She enjoyed spending time with her sons and granddaughter. Jenny is survived by son, Scott Douglas (Genea) Allred of Fredericksburg, VA; son, Richard Lance Allred of Santa Fe, NM; granddaughter, Staci Allred of Fredericksburg, VA; brother, John (Barbara) Palleria of Nampa, ID; sister, Betty Steffenson of Blackfoot, ID; sister, Mary Karren of Vernal, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Sebastiano Palleria and Elisabetta Maria Panzarella Palleria, her husband, George Ezekiel Allred, and an infant sister, Jennie. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2015, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue in Idaho Falls. Burial will be in the Grove City Cemetery in Blackfoot.
