JENNIFER CLAPP
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Jennifer Clare Clapp, 52, of Idaho Falls, died June 28, 2005, in peace, at home with her family, after a short but courageous battle with ALS/Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
She was born July 18, 1952, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Forrest William Wood and Helen Morrison Wood. She grew up and attended schools at New Sweden Elementary, Clair E. Gale and Central Jr. High Schools, Skyline High School and Ricks College.
She married Alan Brent Clapp March 27, 1973, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She raised her family of four children with her husband in the Idaho Falls area. She also enjoyed working for the School District #91 Lunch Program.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, Justin Allen and Marley Tameryn Clapp, and Taelyr Jean Guidinger, gardening, cooking, camping, snowmobiling and riding horses with her sons. She enjoyed any activity where she could spend time with her children and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Wood, and two brothers, Kent D. Wood and Chris B. Wood.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2005, at the Idaho Falls LDS Pioneer Ward, 2020 South Charlotte Drive, with Bishop Anthony Passino officiating.
The family will visit with friends Friday from 11:30 to 12:45 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National A.L.S. Association, 27001 Agoura Road, Suite #150, Calabasas Hills, CA, 91301.
Burial will be in the New Sweden Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
