JEANNE BRUNSON
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Jeanne Allen Skelton Brunson, 77, of
Idaho Falls, died December 1, 2004, at her home.
She was born January 23, 1927, in Rexburg to Clyde Skelton
and Alice Allen Skelton. She graduated from Madison High School and attended
Idaho State University.
On October 17, 1947, she married Stephen Lewis Brunson
in Rexburg, Idaho. They lived in Rexburg and traveled with the Navy before
settling in Idaho Falls. She worked at the telephone company in Rexburg,
at Phillips Petroleum Company in Wisconsin and Long Beach, California,
then DOE, Dept. of Finance in Idaho Falls. She also volunteered at the
Child Development Center and, after she retired, she worked for Easter
Seals.
Jeanne loved her family and friends with every part of
her being. She was a wonderful mother and friend. So many stopped by often
to enjoy her natural with and humor. She was thoughtful, sensitive, loving
and considerate to all who crossed her path--always ready to lend an ear,
a helping hand, or sympathetic smile. You could depend on Jeanne to always
be there for you. She will always be everybody's best friend and we will
all miss her dearly.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen Lewis Brunson,
of Idaho Falls, daughters, Zoe Ellen Coronado of New Mexico and Kimberli
Rebecca Brunson of Idaho Falls. She has two grandchildren, Shawn Patrick
Dougherty and Emily Marilu Dougherty; four step-grandchildren, Jason,
Cory, Tom and Jamie and eight step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 sisters,
Orma Siglin, Margie Blaylock-Lee and Ellen Wood.
Memorial Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December
4, 2004, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will
visit with friends following the services. Arrangements are under the
direction of Wood Funeral Home.
