Jean Perry

JEAN MARIE PERRY IDAHO FALLS -- Jean Marie Meek Smith Perry, 76, of Idaho Falls, died June 23, 2004, at her home. She was born March 8, 1928, at Preston, Idaho, to Benjamin Anton Meek and Grace Olivia Bishop Meek. She grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Preston High School. On August 17, 1945, she married Dean C. Smith in the Logan LDS Temple. He passed away in August, 1992. On October 18, 1994, she married Glenn H. Perry in the Logan LDS Temple. Jean was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed music, flowers, and gardening. Surviving are: Husband: Glenn Perry, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Benton (Lynda) Smith, Afton, WY Daughter: Olivia (Bob) Boyack, Preston, ID Daughter: Janice (Brad) Shumway, Preston, ID Daughter: Carol Deene (Earl) Hymas, Preston, ID Daughter: Kaylin (Doak) Tuller, Preston, ID Stepson: Michael (Nancy) Perry, Prescott, AZ Stepson: Paul (Sandra) Perry, Shreveport, LA Stepdaughter: Christine (Dennis) Cramer, Pinedale, WY Stepson: Steven (Leslie) Perry, Prescott, AZ Stepdaughter: Susan (Paul) Cramer, Pocatello, ID Stepson: Dale (Rachael) Perry, Kennewick, WA Brother: Wilford (Carma) Meek, Preston, ID Brother: Ariel Meek, Preston, ID Sister: Lucile (Dennis) Larsen, St. Anthony, ID 21 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren, 28 Step Grandchildren, 30 Step Great Grandchildren, and 16 Step Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tenna; four brothers, Raymond, Arthur, Richard, and Earl; a Granddaughter, Krystal Shumway, and a Great Grandson, Matthew Beckstead. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2004, at the Riverdale LDS Church, with Bishop Ron Keller officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Idaho Falls LDS Shadow Mountain Ward (3721 Shadow Mountain Trail) and from Saturday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Riverdale LDS Church in Riverdale, Idaho. Burial will be in the Riverdale Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home in Preston. Local arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
