Jean Mcmillin

Willa Jean A. Webb McMillin, 86, of Ammon, Idaho, passed away January 21, 2013, at The Gables of Ammon. Jean was born April 24, 1926, in Conway, Missouri, to John William Webb and Vera Lillian Mace Webb. She grew up and attended schools in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and graduated from Poplar Bluff High School. After high school she moved to Caldwell, Idaho, and attended a vocational secretarial school there. On January 1, 1949, she married Ralph Lloyd McMillin in Caldwell, Idaho. Their first three children, Bill, Marsha, and Tanda, were born while they lived in Caldwell. In 1957, they moved to Red Bluff, California, where their youngest child, Penni, was born. In 2002, they moved to Sacramento, California, then came to Ammon in 2005, to be closer to their daughter, Penni. Jean was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and homemaker. Ralph passed away October 20, 2011. She was a 50 year member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, canning, crafts, and needlework. Jean is survived by Son, William "Bill" (Debbie) McMillin of Anderson, CA; Daughter, Marsha (Scott) Jones of Spokane, WA; Daughter, Tanda (Gina) McMillin of Port Townsend, WA; Daughter, Penni (Steve) Douglas of Ammon, ID; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; Brother, Joe Webb of Sacramento, CA.. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, May 5, 2013, in Millville, California.
