Dora Georgina "Jean" Harris, 99, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 30, 2016, at Teton Post Acute Care and Rehabilitation Center. Jean was born November 1, 1916, in Grimsby, England, to Roland Charles Walter Reynolds and Ada Louise Green. She grew up and attended school in Grimsby. On February 22, 1941, she married Thomas Richard Ernest Harris in Grimsby, England. The couple immigrated to the United States in 1947. On September 22, 1947, Jean and Tom were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. To this union were born three children, Sandra Jean, Jay Martin, and Thomas Reynolds. They made their home in Ogden, Utah. Tom was a hospital administrator and moved with his family to Roy, Utah; Bountiful, Utah; Burley, Idaho; and eventually to Idaho Falls, Idaho. Jean was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully throughout her life in many callings, including two missions: a 2-year Spanish extraction mission, and a full-time mission with her husband in Belfast, Ireland. She loved cooking, knitting, gardening, and spending time with her family. Jean is survived by her son, Jay (Trudy) Harris, of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Tom (Cindy) Harris, of Fallbrook, CA. 8 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; and daughter, Sandra. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016, at the Idaho Falls Central Stake Center, 2025 Jennie Lee Drive, with Bishop Dennis Wahlquist of the Idaho Falls LDS 31st Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Ben Lomond Cemetery in North Ogden at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2016.

11 a.m. ,Saturday, May 7, 2016 Idaho Falls LDS Central Stake 2025 Jennie Lee Drive Idaho Falls, ID 83404 Notes: The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Ben Lomond Cemetery in North Ogden at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2016.
