JEAN B. FLETCHER IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Jean B. Fletcher, 81, born in Red Jacket, West Virginia, May 30, 1926, was called home by his Heavenly Father August 30, 2007, at his home in Idaho Falls. Jean was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worked faithfully in the Idaho Falls Temple for 25 years. He held many positions in the church throughout his lifetime and made many life-long friends. Jean was a very intelligent person. He graduated from school with a degree in mechanical engineering and worked in West Virginia for the railroad in his early adult life, then with the space program in Southern California for the Aerojet Company and retired from EG & G as a principal administrator in April, 1991. Jean was an avid golfer since he was four years old. When he retired, he made golf clubs for people who said his clubs improved their game ten-fold. Jean enjoyed doing family history on his computer and spent many hours researching his family tree. Jean leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Shirley Louann Duffin Glenn, whom he married January 30, 1977, in the Los Angeles LDS Temple, one brother; Arman (Shirley) Fletcher, two daughters; Ellen (Phillip) Deitrich, and Jodi (Gary) Stiner, four step-children; Connie (Jerry) West, Mike (Linda) Glenn, Debera (Ken) Robinette, and Bob (Carole) Glenn. He leaves 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, Jay Bernheim Fletcher and Adda Estella Conner Fletcher, and his son, Jeano Bernheim Fletcher. He is also preceded in death by his first and second wives, Carolyn Irene Burks Fletcher and Alta Jean McEvers Fletcher.
