LYLE WILLIAMSON
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Jay Lyle Williamson, 74, of Idaho Falls,
died January 3, 2004, at eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born October 12, 1929, in McGill, Nevada, to Joseph
Lindley Williamson and Ethel Wanda Carson Williamson. He attended White
Pine High School in Ely, Nevada.
He married Glenna Maurine Bryan in Ely, Nevada, in 1951.
Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple, December 18,
2003. He was a steel worker, mail carrier, and managed Coleman’s Grocery
Store in Tonopah, Nevada, for 14 years.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. He loved his grandkids, fishing, gardening, astronomy, taking photos,
the beaches of Hawaii, and was an avid story teller and milk-shake drinker.

Daughter: Maurine (Fred) Fisher, Ely, NV
Son: Richard L. (Monica) Williamson, Idaho Falls, ID
Sister: Bonnie Bradley, Ely, NV
15 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January
9, 2004, at the Ely, Nevada Stake Center, with Bishop Douglas Fulmer of
the Ely 2nd Ward officiating.
The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to
the services at the church.
Burial will be in Ely Cemetery in Ely, Nevada under the
direction of Wood Funeral Home East Side.
