Jared "Bubba" Carlson - 10/25/2001 Jared "Bubba" Carlson - 10/25/2001 JARED "BUBBA" CARLSON IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Jared John “Bubba” Carlson, 17, of Idaho Falls, died October 24, 2001, at his home. Jared was born June 6, 1984, at Idaho Falls, to Roger John Carlson and Teresa Ann Jensen Carlson. He grew up in the New Sweden area on the family farm and attended Templeview and Fox Hollow Elementary Schools, Eagle Rock Junior High School, and was a senior at Skyline High School this year. He worked on the family farm. Jared was active in sports and loved baseball. He especially loved the people he played baseball with. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Jared was a Past Master Councilor of DeMolay and was a great leader. He had a great love of friends, family, and animals. Jared loved baseball, basketball, fishing, hunting, football, motorbiking, snowmaching, and snowboarding. He loved tinkering with his pickup and woodworking. Jared had a great sense of humor. A lovable kid, he always had a hug for friends, family, his sister, and his grandparents. Surviving are:Parents: Roger & Teresa Carlson;Sister: Monica Carlson;Grandmother: Janet Jensen;Grandparents: Marvin & Connie Carlson; andGreat Grandfather: Keith Rowland; all of Idaho Falls.He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Lowell Jensen. Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2001, at the First Presbyterian Church, 325 Elm Street, with Reverend Dr. Dennis Falasco officiating. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, and for one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the church. Burial will be in New Sweden Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to the Family Recovery Center, DeMolay Foundation of Idaho, 736 South Logan Street, Moscow, ID 83843.
