Janiece (Ransom) Krieger

Barbara Janiece Ransom Krieger, 86, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 24, 2023, at home.

Janiece was born August 19, 1936, in Soda Springs, Idaho, to Harris Ransom and Barbara Emiline Ransom. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.

On September 11, 1954, she married Lawrence Francis Krieger in Compton, California. Shortly after their marriage, Janiece and Lawrence made their home in Lancaster, California, where Janiece worked as a secretary for the government at Edwards Air Force Base and for DiMattio Realty. Upon retirement, Janiece and Lawrence moved back to their home state of Idaho.

Janiece enjoyed gardening, sewing, embroidery, and reading.

Janiece is survived by her loving son, Kevin Scott (Don Ambrose Moody) Krieger of Las Vegas, NV; husband, Lawrence Francis Krieger of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Ernest Dean Ransom of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Douglas (Anna) Ransom of Idaho Falls, ID; and many nieces and nephews from both sides of the family.

She was preceded in death by her sister, JoAnne Ransom Harris; brother, Guy Harris Ransom; father, Harris Ransom; and mother, Barbara Emiline Ransom (Shaw).

Services will be held at a later date.
