Janice LaRee Nelson, 71, of Bothell, Washington, passed away November 28, 2011, at Swedish Edmonds Medical Center in Edmonds, Washington. Janice was born July 20, 1940, to LaVar “Dusty” Nelson and Geneve Alice Young Nelson in Delta, Utah. She attended schools in Ririe, then at O.E. Bell Jr. High in Idaho Falls. She graduated from Bonneville High School. She married Angus Rairdon and he preceded her in death. Janice worked at a potato house for many years and on an assembly line, making computer parts and safety glasses. She worked at Walmart for 11 years until she retired in 2007. Janice lived in Ammon, Idaho Falls, Indiana, Florida, and the past four years resided with her daughter in Bothell, Washington. Janice was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, knitting, and watching her favorite TV programs. Janice enjoyed traveling and sightseeing. She especially loved going to See’s Candy and picking out her favorite pieces of candy. Janice is survived by her children, Rhonda Leigh Hicks, Ronald Brett Morgan, Sherri Dee Archer, Earl LaVar Morgan, and her brother, Keith LaVar Nelson. She has 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Steven Mark Morgan. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011, at the Ammon Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, in Idaho Falls.

The family will visit with friends from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. prior to services at Wood's. Burial will be in Ammon Cemetery.
