MUIR IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Janice Sarah Williams Muir, 78, of Idaho Falls, died November 11, 2001, at her home of cancer with her daughter by her side. She was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho. Janice was born July 8, 1923 in Provo, Utah, and was adopted by John H. Williams and Oma Nielsen Williams. She grew up in Sandy, where she attended schools and graduated from Jordan High School. Janice married George Earl (Dick) Muir February 21, 1942, at Salt Lake City, Utah. They lived in Salt Lake City until 1946, when they moved to Idaho Falls. She has been a homemaker and mother and worked for 30 years as Supervisor of the Idaho Falls Credit Bureau. Dick passed away November 15, 1996. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Janice enjoyed gardening, reading, golfing, and activities with the Senior Citizens Center and the Friendship Club. Surviving are:Daughter: Marilyn Gale [Darrell] Brown, Idaho Falls, ID 2 Grandchildren & 3 Great GrandchildrenShe was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Graveside Services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, November 15, 2001, at Fielding Memorial Park, with Jay Rencher officiating. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402-4092.
