It has been many years since I married and left the area, but I have never forgotten my dearest neighbors! I use to call you guys 'my kids'..I hope I wasn't the worst baby sitter you had....Are hot dogs still your favorite food? There was a time when ever I came to babysit, your mom would tell me that there were hot dogs in the fridge if you, Jana and Lyndon wanted something to eat. Don't remember that JoAnn was that particular about eating..but you two were very fond of hot dogs! Your mom and dad were very special people (like you don't already know that). They were always ready to give help or aid and they help our family so very much and it was appreciated very, very much! You kids and your parents have forever held a special place in our hearts. We loved you all dearly. When I got married your dad offered the cabin for us to use for our honeymoon and thru in 50 dollars just for the heck of it (that was a lot of money back then). Wayne parked Brent's car in his garage the night of the wedding so it wouldn't get the traditional 'just married' paint job. In fact Brent was telling me if I remember the first time we went on a date, your mom and dad were at our house when he came to pick me up, Wayne had said earlier to me that 'this guy had to pass his approval' in order for me to even go out with him! Just wanted to make sure I was dating a nice guy. Not too many years ago I was cleaning out stuff I had kept for years and decided I needed to go thru and de-junk and among that stuff I found an envelope marked 'Paul's first hair cut', and in it of course was a few strand of his beautiful blond hair! ...I remember helping Janice when she decided that the time had come to cut his hair as it was getting to long and people might think he was a girl if she let it grow much longer! Our family just has so many memories of Wayne,Janice and you kids. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Take care of each other as I know that is what your mom and dad would want. With Love, Tracy, Vicki and Court Randall

I was surely saddened to hear of the loss of your mother. She was a great lady and always a pleasure to work for and be around. Although I did not know her as well as some, I am confident that she was an incredible woman, judging by the children that she raised. Great friends of mine and a legacy of their mother. One and all in my heart and prayers at this time.

What I am feeling now is hard to put into words. What a wonderful lady who was so thoughtful and generous! She had a way of making you feel important and loved in so many ways.
I'll always remember her little acts of kindness such as buying new pillows for my return home from the hospital after childbirth, taking me to lunch for an out from work, helping with the kids especially when her health was suffering and her frequent phone calls to make sure we were happy and everything was okay.
Janice was always kind and considerate of my feelings and made sure that I was remembered on special occassions, which was very much appreciated especially with all of my family living out-of-state.
She will always hold a special place in my heart as well as the hearts of her grandchildren and we love her very much. Sharon Strobel
