Janet Lorraine Hrdlicka, 55, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 25, 2016, at Teton Post Acute Care & Rehabilitation. She was under the care of her daughter, Heather. Janet was born September 17, 1960, in Ecorse, Michigan, to Richard Thomas Yax and Doris Emilda Germain. She grew up and attended schools in Garden Grove, California, and graduated from Pacifica High School. In 1983, she married Rick Hrdlicka in Las Vegas. The couple later divorced. She raised three children, Heather, Candice, and Nathan. Janet spent most of her life in Orange County, California. She was a member of the Lutheran church. She enjoyed singing, church, puzzles, making jewelry, laughing, loving and making memories with her children and grandchildren. Janet is survived by her mother, Doris Emilda Vanover of CA; daughter, Heather (Matthew Hernandez) Pearson of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Candice (Thomas) Forester of CA; son, Nathan Yax of Crestline, CA; sister, Sharon Vollmer of CA; brother, David (Cyndi) Yax of CA; brother, Michael (Susan) Yax of CA; sister, Laura (David) Olguin of CA; brother, Larry (Jodi) Benn of CA; and six grandchildren: Hannah, Kacie, Elizabeth, Lillian, Thomas, and Maddyson. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Thomas Yax and two brothers, Rick and Thomas Yax. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Wood Funeral Home to help with the funeral costs.
