JANET S. ELLISON IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Janet Sudweeks Ellison, 74, of Idaho Falls, died February 28, 2008, at her home. She was born February 26, 1934, at Jerome, Idaho, to Harold Don Sudweeks and Rachel Newman Sudweeks. The family moved to Idaho Falls, where she attended schools and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. On September 4, 1952, she married Hodge H. Ellison in Idaho Falls. He preceded her in death April 23, 1998. She was a mother and homemaker. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed gardening and outdoor activities. Janet was a devoted mother and grandmother, enjoyed spending time with her special companion, Donald Borrowman, and will be remembered as a lovely, vibrant woman loved by all who knew her. Survivors include: Daughter: Sherry Ellen Ellison, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Hodge K. Ellison, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Carol Ann (Brian) Moore, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Jay D. (Isabelle) Sudweeks, Twin Falls, ID Brother: Alan D. Sudweeks, Tucson, AZ Sister: Margie S. (Jim) Freston, South Carolina 10 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a grandson. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2008, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, with Bishop Heber Andrus of the Idaho Falls LDS Willow Creek Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services, both at Wood Funeral Home. We loved her so much. She was always so good to me from the the time I was a tiny child your mom and dad always treated me so special and always took the time to talk to me. They were very wonderful people. Even after I got married she would always take the time to call and let me know when something important had happened or was about to happen I always felt very close to her. She has always been one of my favorites. I will never forget her contagious laugh - it would make everyone feel like laughing with her. I am so sorry we couldn't attend the services, we had no idea. We were on vacation and didn't know anything until we got home on 3/5/08. We are so sorry for your loss.
