Although I didn't know either of you very well, I really enjoyed visiting with you and making Jane smile. I so admire your love and commitment to her. 51 years of marriage, that is pretty incredible. I know that being in the hospital is not where you wanted to spend that 52nd year of marriage, so that is why I wanted you two to enjoy a few special everyday moments together.
