Almira Jane Berkley Allbright, 66, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 29, 2013, at her home after a long illness. She was under the care of Hearts for Hospice. Jane was born January 4, 1947, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to James Donald Berkley and Norma Louise Peterson. She graduated from Twin Falls High School and attended Idaho State University. Jane married Bruce Leon Allbright July 15, 1967, in Pocatello, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple July 13, 1968. She also lived in Pocatello, Idaho, Thornton, Colorado, and Boise, Idaho, before settling in Idaho Falls. She worked as a librarian at Gate City Elementary in Pocatello, as an accountant at RS&I, and as a secretary at Clair E. Gale Junior High School. Most importantly, she was Commander-in-Chief of her Household. (CINC House Pac) Jane was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a Primary President, along with teaching Primary, Relief Society President, Young Women Leader, served a five year church history mission, and recently serving in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s activities. She enjoyed counted cross stitch, crocheting, gardening, and was a volunteer at schools. Jane was an excellent grandmother to her nine grandsons and one granddaughter. Jane is survived by her husband Bruce of Idaho Falls; Son, Jeff (Wendy) Allbright, grandsons, Mathew and Joshua, of Pocatello; Son, Troy (Christina) Allbright, grandsons, Brian, Aaron, and Ethan and granddaughter, Carys, of Pocatello; Daughter, Lori (Roger) Murdoch, grandsons, Taylor, Austin, Kohner, and Kasen, of Idaho Falls; Mother, Norma Berkley of Twin Falls; Brother, James Berkley of Twin Falls; Sister, Diana (Kent) Wolfe of Gooding, Idaho; Sister, Beverly (Kenny) Wilder of St. Anthony, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her father, James Donald Berkley. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 3, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at the Idaho Falls LDS Fox Hollow Ward, 2345 West 17th South (Mill Road), with Bishop Michael Dunbar officiating. The family will meet with friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, and from 12 Noon until 12:45 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
