Jamie Ball

Jamie L. Ball of Portland, Oregon, 56, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018.

Jamie was born on April 10, 1961, to Gene and Nadine Ball. He was born in Idaho Falls and raised in Rigby, as well as Idaho Falls. Jamie later moved to Oregon, where he lived the rest of his life. Jamie was an excellent cook and he worked in the restaurant business much of his life.

He was a lover of all animals and was most fond of cats. Jamie enjoyed camping and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his long time roommates, Russell Howell and Don Brubaker. Jamie was a kind, gentle soul who will be missed dearly.

Jamie is survived by his brother, Gary (Debbie) Ball of Starr, ID; his sister, Debra (Jason) Croft of Idaho Falls; as well as four nieces, three nephews and a handful of great nieces and nephews.

Jamie was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, two brothers and two great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue in Idaho Falls. A visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 - 1:45 p.m. prior to the services. Burial will be at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
