JIM BAYSINGER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- James Richard "Jim" Baysinger Sr., 80, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 8, 2008, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of causes incident to age.
He was born December 27, 1927, in Montrose, Colorado, to Michael H. Baysinger and Minnie Williams Baysinger. He grew up in Colorado and attended Grand Junction High School. He served as a Corporal in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He married Sylvia Gorman in 1955 and they were later divorced. They had two children, James Jr. and Jeanne. In March of 1987, he married Mildred Virginia "Millie" McGraw in Twin Falls, Idaho. He worked as a carpenter and mason until his retirement in 1992. He also lived in Grand Junction, Colorado, Shoshone, Idaho, Vaughn and Pearidge, Arkansas before moving to Idaho Falls. Millie passed away June 6, 2008.
While in Shoshone he established a Christian jail and prison ministry for the area. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Jim was a craftsman and could build anything.

6 Grandchildren & 12 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, two sisters, and a son.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2008, at the Iona Cemetery, with Reverend Michael Glaser of the Cornerstone Pentecostal Church officiating.
Burial will be in the Iona Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
