JIM SCOTT
IRWIN, ID -- James Elmer “Jim” Scott, 73, of
Irwin, died September 5, 2003, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 5, 1930, at Seattle, Washington, to Elmer
Lloyd Scott and Zella Kathleen Dow Scott. He grew up in the Seattle area
and attended Franklin High School, then received Vo-Tech training as a firefighter.
He served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
He married Joanne Marie Andersen December 22, 1994, in
Reno, Nevada. He was a fireman with District 2, Local 1461 in Burien, Washington,
and retired as Assistant Fire Chief in 1982. After his retirement he had
his own arson investigation company.
He was a member of the Masons and the Shriners, the National
Rifle Association, and the Scottish Rite. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling,
guns, traveling, motorcycle riding, boating, and golf.

Private Family Services were held. Arrangements are under
the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
