James "Jd" Dettloff

James Edward "JD" Dettloff, 78, of Ammon, passed away April 16, 2017, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. JD was born July 9, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, to George Dettloff and Marie Mueller Dettloff. He grew up in Chicago, Illinois. On October 30, 1963, he married Priscilla Theresa Monahan in Chicago, Illinois. To this union was born a son, James Robert Dettloff. JD and Priscilla made their home in Ammon, Idaho. He enjoyed golf, painting, antique collecting, and fishing. JD is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Priscilla Dettloff; son, James (Jamie) Dettloff of West Haven, UT; sister, Dolor (Ken) Zadwick of Vallejo, CA; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. No services will be held.
