ELMER CROMWELL

James Elmer Cromwell, 89, of Idaho Falls, died September 18, 2007, at Idaho Falls Health & Rehabilitation. He was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho.
He was born April 27, 1918 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Joseph William Cromwell and Myrtle Loretta Brown Cromwell. He attended schools in Idaho Falls.
He served on the U.S.S Bretton as a Fireman 1st Class in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He married Mildred Loretta Whitney June 4, 1938 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the City of Idaho Falls Water Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, rock collecting, and gardening.

Son: Robert James (Peggy) Cromwell, Idaho Falls, ID
Son: Doyle (Bonnie) Cromwell, Ririe, ID
Brother: Vernal Dean Cromwell, Idaho Falls, ID
Sister: Marian Idella Goodson, Idaho Falls, ID
15 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joseph Semore Cromwell.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2007, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. before services at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and the Idaho Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Hospice of Eastern Idaho, 1810 Moran, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83401.
