Click Here To View Memorial Video James Leo Chapple Sr., 61, of Idaho Falls, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. James was born October 31, 1953, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Delbert Vernon Chapple and Kathryn Parker Chapple. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. In 1971, he married Barbara Joy McKelley in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union were born three children, James, Cheri, and Nicole. James and Barbara made their home in Idaho Falls, where James worked as a bartender and a diesel mechanic. He was a Christian. He was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, shooting, and white water rafting. He was a Ball Shagger at McDermott Field from 1968 to 2014. James is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Barbara Chapple of Idaho Falls, ID; son, James (Christy) Chapple Jr. of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Cheri (fiancé, Travis Killian) Chapple of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Nicole (Daniel) Gneiting of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Kathryn Chapple of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Suzy (David) Falkingham of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Pat (Clark) Silver of Pocatello, ID; sister, Nola Chapple of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Lori (Dennis) Wipf of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Connie (John) Griffiths of Phoenix, AZ; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Chapple; brothers, Bertt and Bobby Chapple; and step-mother, Gloria Chapple. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to services at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
