Jake Webster

Jacob Edward “Jake” Webster, 30, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 16, 2013, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Jake was born August 17, 1983, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. His parents are Larry Edward Webster Jr. and Maureen “Mo” Baker Webster. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 2001, where he lettered in wrestling. Jake had wrestled since he was six years old. He loved wrestling so much that he had gotten his young sons interested in the sport. . On February 13, 2004, he married Kayla Dawn Wagner in Blackfoot, Idaho. Immediately after Jake and Kayla were married he attended the electrical program at Eastern Idaho Technical College, where he completed the four year program. He worked electrical positions for several contractors in the Idaho Falls area. Jake loved being an electrician and he was always coming up with money and time saving ideas that really impressed his employers. A couple of years ago Jake and his brother, Nick went to North Dakota, where they were both employed. Jake recently returned home from North Dakota to be with his family. He had just begun working for Idaho Pacific Corp. in Ririe. They have three children, Aiden (9), Kasen (6), and Olivia (4). Jake was a very loving husband and father who was devoted to providing for his family. Jake enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, throwing a football with his sons, riding dirt bikes, and especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Jake lived for summer so that he could go camping with family and friends. He was always surrounded with so many people who loved him. When Jake was there, it was a party. Jake wanted to be an organ donor and did so as the last thing he could do to help others. Jake is survived by his loving wife of nine years, Kayla Webster; 2 sons, Aiden Webster and Kasen Webster; and a daughter, Olivia Webster, all of Idaho Falls; parents, Larry & Mo Webster; brother, Nick Webster; half siblings, Corey Gneiting, Cara Gneiting, and Calie Loveland whom he later formed relationships with, and grandmother, Judy Webster. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry Webster Sr. and Rulon & Ella Baker. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, both at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in the New Sweden Cemetery.
