Maxton Jake Humphries “Turbo”, 34, of Idaho Falls, passed away on September 26, 2011.
He was born August 31, 1977, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Michael J. Humphries and Jacqueline Lloyd Humphries. The family moved to Manti where he graduated from Manti High School. Jake earned his Eagle Scout award while in high school and worked as a volunteer fireman in Manti. He was the youngest certified welder in Utah. He later moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho.
On July 20, 2001, he married Jalene Dee Hahn in Idaho Falls. He earned his CDL license and worked as a materials handler for Diversified Metals. He also caught and transported wild life in various states for the Department of Fish and Game.
Jake loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, horseback riding, welding, snowmobiling. He also enjoyed taking care of his truck and loved his dog “Tike”. He was very family oriented and loved to make people laugh.

Grandmother: Justine Ann Fonnesbeck, Pleasantview, UT
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Wendell Humphries and Jack Wilson and his best friend, Jared Denison “Red”.
A gathering for family and friends will be held from 5 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon).
