JAIME FONG IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Jaime Chiw Fong, 34, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 24, 2007, at his home. He was born December 30, 1972, in Mexicali, Mexico, to Angel Chiw and Jesus Fong. He grew up and attended schools in Mexico. He moved to Idaho Falls seven years ago. He married Erika Gomez February 17, 2004, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He worked as a chef and cook at Jaker’s and Arctic Circle. He enjoyed fishing, pool, archery, cooking, and playing with his son. Survivors include: Wife: Erika Fong, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Jaime Fong Jr., Idaho Falls, ID Father: Angel Chiw, Mexico Brother: Thomas Chiw Fong, CA Brother: Miguel Chiw Fong, Mexico Sister: Lorena Chiw Fong, Mexico He was preceded in death by his mother. The family will visit with friends Saturday, January 27, 2007, from Noon to 1:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge. He was an employee of mine when I managed Jakers Restaurant. He was one of the best cooks I every had the privilege of working with. He was also a great person...great attitude...always willing to do something for somebody else...He will be missed. I will play a game of pool for ya man !!!
