Jacquelyn "Jackie" Berrett Bailey, 66, beloved mother, partner, grandmother, and friend, passed away October 9, 2025, at EIRMC Hospital in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
She was born on October 16, 1959, to William Reed Berrett and Colleen Lindsay Berrett. Jackie was raised alongside her brother Bill in Roberts and Idaho Falls, where she built a life surrounded by long and loyal friendships.
At the age of nine, Jackie lost her father in a tragic accident. She remained especially close to her grandparents in Roberts, working in their café on weekends and during summers, a place that nurtured her love of family and community. She graduated from Skyline High School in Idaho Falls in 1977.
Jackie had a gift for bringing people together. Whether through her vibrant personality or her talent for storytelling, she was often the heart of any gathering. She loved long drives with her partner Tony, especially through the landscapes of Montana. Those who knew her cherished her quick wit and unbridled sense of humor.
Jackie loved time spent with friends and treasured time spent with her cousins. In her professional life, Jackie excelled in sales, where her charisma and humor made her an office favorite wherever she worked.
Jackie is survived by her mother, Colleen Scheid; her partner, Tony Olson; her sons, Levi and Dillon Bailey; and her grandchildren: Abi Bailey, Zoey Bailey, Zane Bailey, Finn Bailey, Dax Bailey, Hannah Wilde, Taygler Olson, and Ryan Wilde. She was preceded in death by her father, William Reed Berrett; her brother, William (Bill) Reed Berrett; and her grandparents, Bud and Evron Lindsay and Reed and Mary Berrett.
"She loved making things that lasted, especially quilts that held a family's stories." -Sandra Dallas (Jackie's favorite author.)
