Jacqueline Gay Schnuckel, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 31, 2016, at Turtle & Crane Assisted Living Center in Idaho Falls. She was under the excellent and compassionate care of Hands of Hope Hospice. Jacqueline was born August 28, 1934, in Shelley, Idaho, to Lawrence Bumgarner and Annie Mae Beasley Bumgarner. She grew up and attended schools in Shelley. Jackie also earned her Associates Degree in Accounting at Eastern Idaho Technical College. Jacqueline’s biggest accomplishment and pleasure was giving birth to her two girls, Barbara Jo and Leisa Ann. Jacqueline made her home in Idaho Falls where she worked for ZCMI and Dillard’s Department Stores. She is a member of Trinity Methodist Church. Jacqueline enjoyed volunteering her time at the Soup Kitchen and Hospice. Family was very important to her and she enjoyed every minute spent with them. She was an accomplished seamstress and loved to cross stitch. She loved getting in a good card game. Jacqueline was honored as employee of the year while working at ZCMI.
Jacqueline is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Jo (Jon) Simmons of Rigby, ID, and Leisa Ann (Louis) Roberts of Merna, WY; two brothers, Ray Olsen and Ralph Olsen, both of Idaho; a sister, Mary Jean Isaacs of Idaho; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, a brother, Lawrence Bumgarner, and two sisters, JoAnn Hodges and Pallie Crider. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. A visitation for all will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to services. Jacqueline will be laid to rest with her mother and family at Shelley-Hillcrest Cemetery.

2:00 p.m. ,Friday, September 9, 2016 Wood Funeral Home East Side 963 South Ammon Road Idaho Falls, ID 83406 Notes: The family will visit with friends from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Burial in Shelley-Hillcrest Cemetery.
