JACKIE GREENHALGH IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Jacqueline Florene "Jackie" Greenhalgh, 85, of Idaho Falls, died July 19, 2006 at Turtle & Crane Assisted Living Center. She was born July 15, 1921, at Eureka, Utah to William John Chivrell and Ada Ellen Mead Chivrell. The family moved to Idaho Falls, where she attended the Ammon High School. On November 24, 1937, she married Darold Horace Greenhalgh in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on July 29, 1972. She was a homemaker and also volunteered as a "Pink Lady" at the hospital. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in the Genealogy Library, as a teacher in Relief Society and as a Cub Scout leader. She enjoyed reading, genealogy, and had an appreciation for nature. Jackie was a devoted wife and mother and loved spending time with her family. Survivors include: Husband: Darold Greenhalgh, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Ralph H. (Janet) Greenhalgh, Ivins, UT Daughter: Kathleen F. (Bill) Barlow, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Mary L. Greenhalgh, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Pamela F. (Rod) Wadsworth, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Fremont McDonough, Shelley, ID 16 Grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, James Greenhalgh. Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2006, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) with her grandson, Larry Horkley, officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
