Click here to view video tribute by Cassidy Clark Jacqueline "Jacque" Neeley Bowen, 89, passed away March 11, 2017, at the Homestead Assisted Living Center in Rexburg, Idaho. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother - many lives will be a little bit lonelier without her. Jacqueline was born September 14, 1927, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Oswald J. Neeley and Myrtle Munns Neeley. She graduated from Madison High School in Rexburg, in 1945. She studied at the University of Idaho in Moscow and Ricks College in Rexburg. Jacqueline met her husband, Lyle Bowen, in high school. The two were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple August 27, 1947. Jacqueline stayed home and raised their six children. Lyle farmed early in their marriage. He later owned a music store and eventually sold life insurance for Beneficial Life. The couple lived in Salt Lake City, Utah; Teton, Idaho; Rexburg, Idaho; Wilford, Idaho; and Idaho Falls, Idaho. Jacqueline has 6 children, 36 grandchildren, and 105 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ina; her brother, Jud; grandson, Tyson Bowen; and great grandchildren, Ainsley Call, Isaac Rideout, Isaac Bowen, and Livingston Bowen. Jacqueline is survived by her husband, Lyle; her children, Victoria Lyn (Scott) Call of Centerville, UT; Deborah Lee Bowen of Idaho Falls, ID; Travis Lyle (Janet) Bowen of Fruit Heights, UT; Shayne Martell (Lynette) Bowen of Manila, Philippines; Dana (Sam) Penrod of Rexburg, ID; and Tanya (Todd) Clement of St. George, UT. The family wishes especially to thank the Homestead staff for the wonderful, loving care they gave Jacqueline during the last few years of her life. The Homestead "kids," as Jacqueline called them, loved her like a grandmother and she loved all of them like they were her grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the Idaho Falls LDS Victorian Village Ward, 260 Castlerock Lane. A viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls. A family viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment will be at the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
