Our precious son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin, Jacob Bruce “Jake” Case, 30, of Iona, passed away September 26, 2012, at his family home in Iona. Jake was born February 22, 1982, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Terry Bruce Case and Merodene Crook Case. He grew up in Ammon, attended schools there, and graduated from Hillcrest High School. Jake moved to Iona with his family eight years ago. Jake participated in Special Olympics and enjoyed his friends at Journeys. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jake served an LDS Humanitarian Mission, attended Special Needs Primary, and loved being a home teacher. Jake loved watching movies, drawing, camping, telling jokes, and playing with his cousins, nieces, and nephew. He was a happy person that looked forward to and loved Halloween, Crook Family Reunions and Christmas! He especially loved movie nights with his Aunt Terena. Jake is survived by His Parents, Bruce & Merodene Case of Iona, ID; Sister, Rachel (Kodi) Holdaway of Idaho Falls, ID; their children, three nieces, Journee Holdaway, Oaklee Holdaway, and Jacee Holdaway; and a nephew, Kage Holdaway; Grandmother, Nita Case of Iona, ID; Grandparents, James & Verla Crook of Iona, ID; He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Case. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 1, 2012, at the Iona LDS 10th Ward, 5169 East Denning, Iona, with Bishop Lance Lindley officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
