Jacob Gerard Candalino

Jacob Gerard Candalino, 7, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 20, 2023, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

Jacob was born May 21, 2016, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Robert Candalino and Kathryn Maureen Slattery Candalino. He was a second grader at Edgemont Elementary School.

Jacob was a member of Pope Saint John Paul II Parish. He enjoyed story-time and listening to his sister talk to him. He loved listening to music and going for walks with family and friends. Jacob taught many friends and family about love and perseverance.

Jacob is survived by his parents, Rob and Katie Candalino of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Bernadette Candalino of Idaho Falls, ID; grandparents Thomas and Roberta Candalino of Bedford, TX; and grandparents, Jean and Jim Crunk of Surfside Beach, SC.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 905 South Lee, Idaho Falls. A Rosary will be held Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, with a visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
