Jackie Kay (Smithies) Degiulio

Jackie Kay DeGiulio, 66, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 5, 2021, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born April 22, 1955, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Dale Smithies and Barbara Holverson Smithies. She grew up in Ashton, Idaho, where she attended Rigby and Ashton grade school and North Fremont High School.

She later moved to Idaho Falls to raise her family where she had four beautiful children.

She later met Lynn Jensen and they were married and made a home in Ammon, Idaho. They later separated and she moved back to Idaho Falls.

She enjoyed going out and having a good time with family and friends. She enjoyed celebrating the holidays with her family and spending time with her grand kids.

Jackie is survived by her four children, April Fuger, James Fuger, Tiffaney (Jason) Rigby, and Felicia Rodriguez; siblings, Jessie Smithies, DeeDee Smithies, and Steve Smithies; 7 grandchildren, with 1 on the way; and 1 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and six siblings.

The family will visit with friends from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue.
