Jacqueline Joann "Jackie" Denning, 79, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 15, 2016, at her home. She was under the care of Alliance Hospice. Jackie was born March 2, 1937, in Coquille, Oregon, to William Arthur Miller and Loretta Mae Andrews Miller. She grew up and attended schools in Nebraska and Idaho. On August 20, 1959, she married Dell M. Denning in Idaho Falls. To this union were born six children, Vernon, Margo, Mark, DeLoss, Keith, and Mezola. Jackie and Dell made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Jackie was a homemaker and mother. Dell passed away on August 26, 2012. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed camping and fishing. She loved cooking. She liked helping her husband work on cars and spending time with her family. Jackie is survived by her son, Vernon Leroy (Heidi) Miller of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Margo Rodriguez of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Mark Denning of Idaho Falls, ID; son, DeLoss Denning of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Keith Denning of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Alice Porter of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Lester (Janet) Miller of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Edna (Ray) Brinnger of Butte, MT; brother, Dell Miller of Idaho Falls, ID; 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Mezola Denning; brothers, Wilbur "Red" Miller and David Miller; sisters, Vivian Priest and Marion Jenen. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, with Jon Wood officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Shelley-Hillcrest Cemetery.
