Jack D Rose, 75, of Idaho Falls, passed away on May 8, 2018, at this home.

He was born June 5, 1942, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Ralph Waldo Emerson Rose and Mary Lee Morris Rose. He grew up and attended schools in Arco. He served as a Private First Class in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany.

On January 18, 1965, he married Ernestine Traylor in Little Rock, Arkansas. They raised six children: Armeratta, Herman, Annette, Audrey, Aaron, and Leonard. Ernestine passed away on June 10, 2002.

Jack was an over-the-road truck driver and had visited every state but Maine. He enjoyed camping and fishing. In his later years, he loved repairing computers and wind-up clocks.

Jack is survived by his daughter, Armeratta Stephenson of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Herman Holland of Arkansas; daughter, Annette (Francis) Gilles of France; daughter, Audrey Rose of Rigby, ID; son, Aaron (Candy) Rose of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Jim Rose of Phoenix, AZ; and 8 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a son, Leonard Guy Holland.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at the Dye Family Pioneer Cemetery in Firth, Idaho. Military rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team.
