JACK PARK
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Jack Park, 78, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 17, 2006, at his home after a long battle with cancer.
He was born January 11, 1928, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Peter Roy Park and Mary Elizabeth Hill Park. He grew up in Sugar City, where he was raised by his mother and stepfather, Marvin Rasmussen. He graduated from Sugar-Salem High School and played on the football team.
He married Vonda Marjorie Browning July 16, 1947, in Lincoln, Idaho. They made their home in Idaho Falls, where he first managed the Victor Hotel in Victor, Idaho, then worked many years as a route delivery driver for Challenge Creamery, from which he retired. He also managed an A & W Restaurant for several years.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed camping, hunting, and outdoor sports. Jack and Marjorie wintered in Quartzite, Arizona, for many years and very much enjoyed their friends there.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Marnie Borrowman and Grace Dissault, and a brother, Gerald Gill.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2006, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, with David Berg of the Ammon LDS 3rd Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Shelley-Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
