Jack Ray Dyer, 55, of Rigby, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 11, 2013.
Jack was born October 3, 1957, in Pocatello, Idaho to Jerry Ray Dyer and Nadine Frasure Dyer. He grew up on the Fort Hall Reservation and in Blackfoot. He graduated from Blackfoot High School and earned his Bachelor’s from the University of Phoenix. Jack worked as a Registered Nurse for Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Jack was a member of the Cowboy Church in Blackfoot. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, playing music and helping people both on call and off call.
Jack is survived by
Son: Jerry "J.R." (Crystal) Dyer of ID;
Son: Elijah Dyer of WA;
Son: Tosh Keller of IL;
Daughter: Sam (Glen) Bench of SD;
Daughter: Ella (Mike) Christiansen of WA;
Daughter: Jessica (Chris) Keating of ID;
Daughter: Bradee Holbrook of ID;
and 8 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angel Dyer, his parents, and sister Linda Paul.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, at the Wilderness Association of Cowboy Churches (129 East 200 North) in Blackfoot, with Pastor David Kite and Pastor Jim Ballard officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm at the Cowboy Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Moreland Cemetery.
