J. David "Dave" Anderson

Jerry David "Dave" Anderson, 40, of Ammon, passed away March 13, 2016, with his wife, Jessica, in Alpine, Wyoming, from injuries sustained in an airplane crash. Dave was born December 11, 1975, in Vancouver, Washington, to Jerry Lee Anderson and Connie Gene Rucker Anderson. He grew up and attended schools in Vancouver and graduated from Evergreen High School. He also attended Ricks College. He served an LDS mission to Washington DC from 1994-1995. On October 6, 1998, he married Jessica Ann Billings in the Chicago, Illinois LDS Temple. To this union were born three children, Ashley, Natalie, and Gavin. Dave and Jess made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Dave worked as a sales representative for Andersen Hitches. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed traveling with his family, flying planes, playing cards, riding motorcycles, and watching the Seattle Seahawks. Dave is survived by his children, Ashley Megan, Natalie Renee, and Gavin Jerry Anderson of Ammon, ID; parents, Jerry and Connie Anderson of Vancouver, WA; brother, Monte O. Anderson of Bettendorf, IA; brother, Chad E. Anderson of Hockinson, WA; brother, Noel C. Anderson of Vancouver, WA; sister, Christy A. Jensen of Blackfoot, ID; sister, Jaci B. Sanderson of Rexburg, ID; sister, Kara L. Bowman of Vancouver, WA; sister, Cyndi L. Taylor of Meridian, ID; grandmother, Alverta Rucker of Vancouver, WA.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edwin and Beatrice Anderson and Robert Rucker. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2016, at the Ammon Foothills Stake Center, 3934 East 49th South, with Bishop Darin Stockstad of the Ammon LDS 30th Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, and Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church.
