IVOL F. RUSSELL IDAHO FALLS, ID - Ivol Ferrele Russell, 78, of Idaho Falls, died March 4, 2006, at his home. He was born July 10, 1927, in Shelley, Idaho, to John Wesley Russell, Jr. and Ruth Chilson Covert Russell. He graduated from Idaho Falls High School, and served in the U. S. Navy from November 1944 to July 1948 during World War II. He married Joyce B. Ward December 31, 1948, in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple January 6, 1965. They spend their married life in Idaho Falls. He worked at Chesbros and the INEL. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served at the Bishop's Store House in Idaho Falls for one year, was a Boy Scout Leader for many years, and served several Stake missions and also served as a temple worker. Ivol was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather, and was an avid camper and enjoyed hunting, fishing, rock hunting, woodworking and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Joyce B. Russell; a two sons, Ferrele Ivol (Cheryl) Russell and Steve Westley (Virginia) Russell; two daughters, Brenna Joyce (Ray) Ryner and Dorothy Gay Snarr, and two sisters, Doreen (Duane) Wolf and Doris (Robert) Wise, all of Idaho Falls; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; He was preceded in death by three sisters, Ella, Melvina, and Joyce, four brothers, Kenneth, Floyd, Eldridge and Spencer, one grandchild and one great-grandchild, and a son-in-law, Earl Mallory Snarr. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at the Idaho Falls 14th Ward, 651 Gladstone, with Bishop Blaine Eborn officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and Tuesday for one hour prior to the services at the church.
