Ivan Cazier - 02/01/2003 Ivan Cazier - 02/01/2003 OBITUARY INFORMATION IDAHO FALLS, ID: Ivan George Cazier, 85, of Idaho Falls, died January 30, 2003 at the home of his cousins, Mike and Lola Harrigfeld in Iona, under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho. He was born September 23, 1917 in St. Anthony, Idaho to William Vernon Cazier and Abbie Myrtle Garrett Cazier. He grew up and attended schools in St. Anthony, and graduated from Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles, California. He served in the U. S. Army Air Force as a Corporal during World War II. He married Kathryn Louise Dull February 2, 1940. She preceded him in death in February of 1999. He retired in 1975 from the U. S. Postal Service where he served as Administrative Assistant to the Postmaster of Los Angeles. He enjoyed dancing, talking about the service, traveling, racing horses, geneology, visiting with relatives, writing books, riding horses and going out to eat. He is survived by:Daughter: Linda (Wayne) Ragland, Salt Lake City, UTDaughter: Sharon Barlow, Salt Lake City, UT10 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren FUNERAL SERVICESFuneral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2003 at Lindquist Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah, with Wayne Ragland officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services at Lindquist Mortuary. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of Eastern Idaho, 1920 East 17th Street, Suite 200, Idaho Falls, ID 83404. Burial will be in the Ben Lomond Cemetery in North Ogden. Veterans rites will be performed by the Ogden County Veterans Team.
