Irvin Jones

Irvin Jones, 60, of Rigby, passed away March 16, 2013, at his home of cancer. He was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice. Irvin was born October 8, 1952, in Winnsboro, Louisiana to Charlie and Bessie Lain Jones. He grew up and attended schools in Crowville, Louisiana. He served in the U. S. Air Force from 1972 to 1977. On March 25, 2011, he married Marva Dee Davis in Pocatello. Irvin worked as a chef. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Irvin is survived by his loving wife, Marva Jones of Rigby, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery. Military Rites will be performed by the Jefferson County Veterans Memorial and Idaho Honor Guard.
