Irvie Farley

IRVIE H. FARLEY IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Irvie H. Farley, 95, of Idaho Falls, died November 3, 2004, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born September 14, 1909 at Magazine, Arkansas to Arthur B. Hooper and Johnie May Scott Hooper. She grew up in Merritt Community, Oklahoma where she attended schools. On November 7, 1936, she married Albert Frank Farley in Elk City, Oklahoma. She was a mother and homemaker and also worked as a telephone operator. Her husband preceded her in death on September 21, 1978. In 1983, she moved to Idaho Falls where she has since resided. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are: Daughter: Melva (Vinson) Baledge, Idaho Falls, ID 2 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and two sisters. A funeral service and visitation will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2004, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, Oklahoma on Monday, November 8, 2004. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
