Iris Gardner Crow, 104, of Teton, Idaho, passed away March 20, 2017, at the home of her son Don. She was under the care of Encompass Hospice. Iris was born April 16, 1912, in LaBelle, Idaho, to Franklin Gardner and Effie Pearl Clements Gardner. She grew up and attended schools in Ammon. On November 30, 1932, she married Jesse Hamilton Crow in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. To this union were born six children, Dorian, Veloy, Larry, Don, Leland, and Ronny. Iris and Jesse made their home in Nashua, Montana, for 12 years, and a few places in Idaho, but spent most of their lives together in Ammon, Idaho, where Iris worked as a homemaker and mother. She was a widow for the last 27 years of her life She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, beading, loomwork, plastic canvas, crafts, adult coloring, camping, and spending time with her family. Iris is survived by her son, Dorian (Lola) Crow of Ammon, ID; daughter, Veloy Murphy of Ammon, ID; son, Larry (Vivian) Crow of Ammon, ID; son, Don (Vicky) Crow of Teton, ID; son, Leland (Rhea) Crow of Blackfoot, ID; son, Ronny (Louise) Crow of Pahrump, NV; sister, Pearl Crow of Ammon, ID; 27 grandchildren and 76 great grandchildren, and 16 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jesse Hamilton Crow, five brothers and three sisters, grandson, Brian Gene Crow, granddaughter, DeAnn Hulse, granddaughter, Beth Crow. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Ammon LDS 1st Ward, 3000 Central Avenue, with Bishop Alan Johnson officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Saturday from 12:00 Noon to 12:45 p.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
