Iris Chapple

IRIS CHAPPLE IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Iris Jeanette Chapple, 77, of Idaho Falls, died April 12, 2005 at Turtle and Crane Assisted Living. The family extends a special thanks to the staff and employees at Turtle and Crane. She was born March 27, 1928, to John Floyd Fisher and Nellie Jeanette Sinclair Fisher, in Idaho Falls. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. She married Len Chapple June 4, 1954 in Elko, Nevada, then worked and raised their five children in Idaho Falls. He preceded her in death January 24, 2002. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and also belonged to the D.O.E.S. As a lifetime homemaker and mother, she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, making baby blankets and gardening. She is survived by: Son: Kent (Linda) Chapple, Idaho Falls Daughter: Lori Wright, Phoenix, AZ Daughter: Debbie (Stu) Eddins, Idaho Falls Son: Larry (Joyce) Haws, Idaho Falls 15 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren Sisters: Rita (Terry) Phippen, Idaho Falls Rhea (Bill) Hatch, Cedar City, UT She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Greg Haws, and a grandson, Shahn Haws. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2005, at the Ucon Cemetery in Ucon, Idaho. The family will visit with friends Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the cemetery. Burial will be in the Ucon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
