Irene Wright

Irene Cook Wright, 96, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 15, 2013, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls of natural causes. Irene was born July 12, 1916, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to James Cook and Edna Ford Cook. She grew up and attended schools in Ririe, where she graduated from high school. On August 28, 1934, she married Ewin Otis Wright in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They made their home in Idaho Falls, where they raised their five children, Robert, Keith, Carol, Lloyd, and Roger. Irene was a wife, homemaker and mother. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Irene enjoyed crocheting. Irene is survived by Son, Lloyd (Sharree) Wright of Shelley, ID, Son, Roger (Arlene) Wright of Idaho Falls, ID; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Robert Wright and Keith Wright, and a daughter, Carol Burkey. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon, Friday, April 19, 2013, at Rose Hill Cemetery. A private family visitation will be held from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
