IDA AIKEN
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Ida Ireen Andersen Aiken, 92, of Idaho
Falls, died October 11, 2004, at the home of her son.
She was born June 1, 1912 at Pingree, Idaho to Carl Christian
Andersen and Sarah Elvira Mecham Andersen. She grew up and attended schools
in Pingree.
In 1929, she married Owen Donald Aiken. Their marriage
was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She was a wife, mother and
homemaker. She also helped her husband with the family farm. She was an
active member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saint. Ida enjoyed sewing, crocheting, herbs and especially being with
her family.

Son: Owen Delon Aiken, Gila Bend, AZ
Son: Raymond Elwin Aiken, Modesto, CA
Son: Donald Lee Aiken, Idaho Falls, ID
28 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren, and 12 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, Eugene and Eldon,
and a daughter, MelRee.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October
16, 2004, at the Idaho Falls LDS Lincoln Stake Center, 2545 Mesa, with
Bishop David Andersen of the Idaho Falls LDS 32nd Ward officiating.
The family will visit with friends on Friday from 7-8:30
p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and for one hour prior to the
services at the church.
Burial will be at 4:00 p.m. in the Paul Cemetery in Paul,
Idaho under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
