Ian Paul Garcia, 41, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 29, 2026, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Ian was born June 4, 1985, in Phoenix, AZ, to Paul Garcia and Cheryl Brown. He grew up and attended schools in Casa Grande, AZ and graduated from Casa Grande Union High School in 2003.

In December of 2005, he married Jennifer Lee Dailey in Idaho Falls, ID. Together, they had four children, Rhianna, Kiarra, Tavian, and Jayla. Ian and Jennifer made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Ian worked as a utility operator for Ingredion. They were later divorced but they remained close friends and solid co-parents.

Ian enjoyed playing sports and gaming all his life. He also enjoyed having a nice, cold drink, listening to music, watching Anime, and he was the life of the party. His life revolved around his four children. He worked hard to take them many amazing places and gave them everything. Ian was also everyone’s favorite uncle, larger than life, they all looked up to him.

Ian is survived by his children, Rhianna Garcia, Kiarra Garcia, Tavian Garcia, and Jayla Garcia all of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Cheryl Brown of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Nikia Garcia of Idaho Falls, ID, brother, Gage Wise of Casa Grande, AZ, brother, Zachary Garcia of Phoenix, AZ, brother, Aries Garcia of Sells, AZ, brother, Seth Wise of Casa Grande, AZ, brother, Billy Wise of Casa Grande, AZ, brother, Jeremy Stroup of Casa Grande, AZ, step-father , Shawn Wise, his Daba, Linda Flitton, and grandmother, Shirley Brown.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Garcia; grandfather, Bobby Jack Brown, Sr.; cousin, Justin Shadrick; grandmother, Etta Mae Brown; his homie, Vince Marquez; and many uncles and aunties.

A visitation will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2026, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.
