Humberto Trabanino

Humberto Trabanino, 89, of St. Anthony, passed away April 11, 2022, at MorningStar Senior Living Center in Idaho Falls. Humberto was born February 4, 1933, in San Salvador, El Salvador, to Umberto Trabanino and Armida Santos de Trabanino. He grew up and attended schools in San Salvador and graduated from San Salvador Catholic School. In January 1966, he married Beverly Thomas. Humberto and Beverly made their home all across the country as Humberto worked as a Captain & Major for the United States Air Force & the United States Army. He has received several awards & medals for his services as an Untied States Military Member. Humberto was an excellent pilot & traveled to many countries across the world. He enjoyed photography, traveling, and meeting new people. He had an engineering mind and was very intelligent. Because of this he patented several tools & equipment to assist the Aircraft Navigation Industry. He excelled in education, always learning something new. He spoke Latin, Korean, Spanish, English, Italian, and Japanese. Humberto is survived by his wife, Beverly Trabanino of Ashton, ID; son, Taddeo (Jennifer) Trabanino of Vernal, UT; daughter, Tamara Oscroft of Rexburg, ID; sister, Milagro Trabanino de Garcia; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren; brothers, Salvador Trabanino, Antonio Trabanino, and Benjamin Trabanino.

A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1690 East 17th Street, with Fr. German Ruis Rebollo officiating. Military Honors will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Air Force Honor Guard.
